For many years I wrote. Every day I penned poetry and lyrics as an agsty teenager in my bedroom. But I was proud of my creativity, I wore it with pride.
And then life happened.
Through the daily grind of work, prohibitive relationships and focusing my attention on the mundane frivolities of reality, I have lost my capability to exist in the fantasy land I worked so hard to build in my younger years.
I would like to remedy that, here and now.
My intention with this project is to, firstly, type out and publish every single poem I have ever written that I still have a copy of.
My second intention is to undertake and complete a Diploma in Creative Writing.
My third and final intention is to use all of the above to fuel my imagination and integrate creativity back into my life. I would like for this website to document that journey. Even if nobody ever finds it, or cares, I will have written, documented proof of my journey, for myself.
This is not just another poetry site.
It's my accountability to myself.
